She was 14 1/2. She became mine when she was only 6 weeks old. If you have ever really known me - you've known my sweetest, too. I waited to post these because I knew your heart would be sad, too. Me and the blonde beauties, we still cry daily. But these images, along with so many more, keep her with us.
These were hard days... I still have no words. We lost both of my grandmothers, and our sweetest Isabel, all within a single week. I could not have made it through without the love of such a dear friend. She laughed with us, and cried with us... and captured my sweet family like no one else has. She made pancakes with my babies while I said goodbye and held my Isabel for the very last time. These photos were taken the afternoon before, and are by far one of my greatest treasures. Dearest Alicia - whatever would we do without you?? Thank you is just not enough... You have touched our lives and our hearts and we are just so blessed by you. We love you much!!!

These are the bits and pieces of where we've been... Our trips to TN. Travels up to Maine. And our frequent adventures in Savannah. Each collection is carefully cleaned and logged. It started out as a way for the girls to channel their attention to the present moments. A way to get to spend more time with the items from certain areas. A way to record the treasures they collected there. Now it's just who we are...
