Salamander Springs Farm is located in Marshall, NC - in a private little corner of the mountains. A place so quiet and peaceful that even the rain speaks in hushed tones. The Webb family is well known for their mushrooms. We got to watch a harvest, learn about growing conditions, and how they came to choose this beautiful life. The rainy morning is one of most favorite to date. And we are looking for another excuse to go back. These farm visits - and the things our girls are learning from conversations with people who live intentionally - are such treasures. The Clover Creek Farm is the very picture of what I love most about the Tennessee hills. The rolling green pastures, the nooks and crannies, and the smell of sweet grass. The storm in the distance added a cool breeze on this hot morning. Chris introduced us to the herd - and showed us just how well her sheep are cared for here..
